°æ·Â English Teacher August 2019 – Present, South Korea
• Teaching English to Kindergartens aged 3-7 and elementary students: I have had the privilege of instructing a diverse range of students, including kindergarteners aged 3-7 and elementary students. This dynamic teaching environment has allowed me to tailor my approach to meet the specific needs and developmental stages of each group.
• Curriculum and Schedule planning and development: I take an active role in curriculum development and meticulously plan class schedules. This involves the careful selection of age-appropriate materials and resources to create a well-rounded learning experience that engages and challenges students.
• Conducting student assessments and tracking progress: Regular assessment of student performance is integral to my teaching approach. I employ various assessment methods to gauge student understanding, and I diligently track their progress, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support to achieve their language learning goals.
• Planning and implementing engaging lesson plans and activities: I place a strong emphasis on creating dynamic and interactive lesson plans. These plans incorporate a variety of engaging activities and resources to make the learning experience enjoyable and effective, fostering a positive attitude towards language acquisition.
• Building positive relationships with co-workers and communicating with parents about students¡¯ progress and behavior: My commitment to fostering a harmonious teaching environment extends beyond the classroom. I actively engage with colleagues to collaborate on enhancing the overall educational experience. Moreover, I maintain open and constructive communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and behavior to ensure a supportive home-school connection.
• Writing reports: I am dedicated to comprehensive student support and meticulously document student progress and behavior in detailed reports.
• Assisting with administrative tasks: In addition, I actively contribute to administrative tasks, which encompass a wide range of responsibilities. This includes assisting with teacher schedule planning, coordinating event days, organizing student birthday celebrations, facilitating trial classes, and contributing to the smooth operation of general school administrative functions.
ÀÚ±â¼Ò°³ 1. I am a highly motivated and compassionate individual with a strong passion for nurturing the growth and development of young learners. With experience in teaching English to students aged 4-10, I am dedicated to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that fosters language acquisition and personal development. I possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and I excel at establishing rapport and building positive relationships with my students. My attention to detail and collaborative approach make me a valuable asset in any teaching setting. As a dedicated English educator, I am seeking a teaching role that allows me to utilize my skills and experience to inspire and empower students to achieve their language learning goals.
2. I have no piercings, body art, medical conditions or mental problems that will render me unfit for any teaching job.
3. The location is first priority, as my husband and I and our 1-year old daughter has been living in our apartment for 4 years and we do not wish to move anywhere else. Finding a job close to our house would be ideal. Second would be the hours, as I have a baby I cannot work late into the evenings - 7pm is the latest. I preferably don't want a 9-6pm job. I'd rather take less money for less hours.
4. The best time to reach me would be any time between 10am and 1pm during weekdays.
