I've studied culture, language, and teaching methods throughout my year of university. I graduated with honours from UTEP, and received awards for excellence in languages such as French, Spanish, and Chinese.
I took many AP English classes, and have furthered my education by completing TEFL certification, and also being accepted into an online Master's program for TESOL last year. I continue to take Korean classes in my spare time, and am always eager to learn new things.

°æ·Â The beginning of my teaching journey was in Mexico in 2015 I had students of all ages.
I also worked with high-school students at Austin High and have worked with much younger students at the El Paso Jewish Academy. At Western Hills Academy, I not only created and submitted lesson plans but was responsible for developing curricula for two foreign languages.
In my position at La Fe Preparatory school, I taught English, Science, Social Studies and Math
both online and in-person to English Language Learners. My time in Korea has prepared me for both
kinder and elementary students. I also have a long history of tutoring university students and adults
both in-person and online at a variety of levels.
My current job requires me to deal with students of all levels and subjects on a daily basis. I deliver
lessons with great energy, creativity, and passion-the same qualities I hope to see reflected in my
students!
ÀÚ±â¼Ò°³ I am currently on an E-2 visa and have been in Korea for a little over a year and a half. I am from the USA, but have travelled and taught in many diverse locations.

I am learning Korean seriously and will soon reach an intermediate level, so I plan to find jobs that are more prestigious than kindergarten, and more related to tutoring, admin, office, or older students/adults. I also have a background in event planning, coordinating, office management, and schedule making/curricula creating/editing.

My ears are pierced, and I have a gluten allergy that doesn't cause major issues.

I am currently making 2.7 m won per month, and have nice housing, so I'm hoping to match that at least, but I am willing to negotiate for a better work environment and location or even good hours.

I am interested in staying in/near Seoul, and prioritising Eunpyeong-gu / Goyang / Mapo / Yongsan area. I currently will not consider opportunities outside of the Seoul area.

As I work full-time and take classes after work, I am more available by email or messaging.
