| 자기소개 |
1. I am a CELTA qualified EFL teacher with plenty of positive experience in both the British and international classroom. I have enjoyed working with learners of various ages (3 - 99!), in state schools, language centres, and individual tutorials. My pedagogical approach is communicative with a strong focus on student-led learning and guided discovery. I have also worked as an exam invigilator in the UK and remotely as an educational content creator, writing HKDSE listening examinations and course book content for EFL students in Hong Kong.
Highlights have included: supporting lead ESL teachers in the development and provision of projects and presentations, such as Travel Agent Presentation: Itinerary of a Lifetime!; preparing and sharing school-wide lesson plans and activities in both Spain (booklet making) and Việt Nam (Christmas creatures); spearheading intensive half-term English Literature and Language exam preparation workshops for GCSE students.
2. I have no piercings or body art. I am hearing impaired and wear hearing aids, but this has no bearing/impact on my professional capability.
3. I would like a 5 day work-week with 2 consecutive days off; I have a preference for Busan, but am open to opportunities from other cities.
