I have 2 degrees from Universities in Ontario, Canada. I have a Bachelor of Education degree from Nipissing University as well as an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree (Geography) from the University of Guelph. I am also a certified Ontario (Canada) teacher with a valid and current teaching license.
As an Ontario teacher I have also taken additional qualification courses in Junior Mathematics, Special Education, and English as a Second Language.
I have a 100-hour TESOL/TESL/TEFL Teacher Training Certificate from Oxford Seminars. |

I have over 9 years of teaching experience in Ontario, Canada (2013-2021). I have been a homeroom teacher for a variety of grade levels including kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 4. I have also been a Special Education teacher as well as an ESL support teacher in Ontario public schools.
I have 3.5 years teaching experience in Korea, from 2009-2013. I taught in the public education system in Korea teaching kindergarten to Grade 6 in 2 schools outside of Gwangju. I also taught in a private academy for 6 months in Gwangju where I was a kindergarten teacher. |

| 자기소개 |
I am currently in Ulsan, South Korea with an F-6 visa with an apartment of my own. My wife is Korean and her mother is sick so that is why I have taken an indefinite leave of absence from my teaching job in Ontario, Canada. I want to support my wife as she helps care for her terminally ill mother. I do need to find a job in Ulsan as that is where we are located. I teacher younger children in Ontario, Canada so I would prefer to teach children from the Kindergarten to Grade 6 range in Korea. I would also prefer to work the "morning shift" (8:30-5:30 / 9:00-6:00) as I do have a son who I would like to be home with for bedtime.
