Çз Received an IB Diploma in High School; Expected in December to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Music Minor (& Notarized by January 4, 2021)
°æ·Â Currently, I am completing a 120 hour TEFL course, and will be finished with it before January of 2021. I have valuable experiences giving violin players feedback on their overall playing by visiting multiple times to the local middle school, and attended to different age groups. I have experience as an informal youth Bible instructor at a summer Christian camp, where I had the opportunity to help lead children in a growth-oriented manner towards increased spiritual and emotional flourishing. Additionally, my experience as a Global Ambassador for International Studies Abroad is so significant because of being able to spread cultural awareness and being a leader in my school community, as I answered important study abroad questions for prospective students and current students at my university. Finally, my experience as a head server and assistant chef at my family¡¯s Korean restaurant developed a strong resilience in me, an unwavering, consistent work ethic, quick-witt, and shaped me to forming crucial problem-solving skills, which I used to resolve any conflicts.
ÀÚ±â¼Ò°³ 1. Hello! My name is Grace Kim. I am a senior at Transylvania University, graduating in December with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in music. I studied psychology because of my deep interest in child development and psycholinguistics! Because of my passion for playing the piano and violin, I have always been intimately connected with music. Through repeated practicing and performing, I have developed a strong resilience through accepting every kind of feedback possible. In my free time, I love reading, singing, and learning new languages. I will be an effective teacher based on the foundation of all my experiences. I have learned to become patient, committed, communicative, compassionate, adaptive, and empathetic to each individual child and adult I interact with. I am looking forward to flourishing continually as a person through closely working with students, and learning from other experienced teachers to develop my own unique teaching style.
2. I have no piercings and I have no body art. I have no health problems.
3. I have a flexible schedule. Location is very important to me because I have intimate connections with my family in Seoul, and life-long friends living in Seoul. The age level that I would like to work with is children or adolescents, but I am flexible regardless of age level. I prefer close-knit communities and a smaller working environment.
4. The best time to reach me by phone is 2 PM to 11 PM, CST.
Thank you, and I look forward to working with your staff!
