I studied International Relations and Chinese Studies at Richmond, the American International University, in London. I will receive my diploma very soon where I will be awarded a 2:1 (Second upper division).
For my Final Year Project (Dissertation/thesis), I wrote a paper called "Rethinking Realism for Asia: Sino-Korean Relations", in which I received an A grade.
During my time in university, I studied in Busan for a semester at PKNU and interned at Africa Insight in Seoul. Furthermore, I received the following awards:
- Certificate of Completion at the 2017 Chinese Language and Culture Experiencing Program at Kede College of Capital Normal University, P.R China.
- Global Korea Scholarship Program for Foreign Exchange Students from September to December 2018.
And I am also a CRCC Asia Alumna. |

| 경력 |
I do not have any formal teaching experience however I believe other jobs which I have carried out have helped me develop skills which may be relevant for teaching.
I developed communication skills on a professional level while working at high-pressure restaurant jobs where I had to effectively communicate between customers and colleagues in a clear yet friendly manner.
I also have been able to develop my teamwork and adaptability skills while working at a basic administration level job at Sevacare where I sorted out filing for all care workers and service users. Furthermore, I read through communications logs written by said care workers and would then record findings and sign. I additionally made and answered phone calls to book appointments and remind care workers of their schedules for the following week.
Before this, I was trained as a care worker to understand how the industry operates. It took part in a course where I attended lectures and took several exams and later on cared for elderly people in my neighbourhood. |

1. My name is Jihan Ali and I am a 22-year-old newly graduate from London, England. I am a highly organized and hard-working individual seeking an entry-level position to begin my career in teaching.
2. I only have two piercings on each ear and I have no mental or physical conditions.
3. The most important factor regarding this job is the location. I've put a deposit on an apartment in Seoul and during my free time, I'd like to return to contributing to where I previously interned (Africa Insight). So I would appreciate being placed in Seoul.
