Çз I attended the University of Calgary from August 2014 to June 2019. There, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language Arts, as well as a Bachelor of Education. I have an interim professional certificate from Alberta Education, and so am a certified teacher.
°æ·Â From August 2019 until now, I have been employed at Chungnam Foreign Language High School, where I teach second grade students in English conversation and writing. In Canada, I have taught English and social studies as a grade 7 and grade 9 student teacher. I taught grade 9 full-time from November 2018 to April 2019 and grade 7 full-time for a month. I also spent close to a year planning and running kid and youth programs at a non-profit organization named "Hope Mission".
ÀÚ±â¼Ò°³ 1. Throughout my various teaching and teaching related jobs, I have gained valuable experience and knowledge of the importance of intellectually engaging all students through student-centered learning. Alongside the teachers I have been able to collaborate with, I have had the opportunity to explore a multitude of possibilities and perspectives of approaching such learning in diverse classrooms, where students ranged in ability and skill. I am confident that my experience in these classrooms have allowed me to find my voice as an educator, as well as impart in me an eagerness to continue growing as I see my students constantly doing so. I believe that this stride for ambition and growth in my abilities as a teacher has led me to apply for this position, and that these things make me an ideal candidate in a school that seeks to develop each and every student¡¯s individual passions.

2. I have a single lobe piercing on both ears. I have no tattoos, nor do I have any major or minor medical conditions.

3. The working environment and schedule are the most important factors for me in regards to my job. I want to be in a supportive working environment where I feel like I can openly communicate with my co-workers and come together with them to foster an effective, collaborative space for the students, parents and staff. At the same time, having a schedule that would allow for myself to plan ahead of time is also important to me, as that I would be able to provide the best lessons possible to my students and determine the ways in which I could help them succeed.

4. Any time after 5:30pm on the weekdays would work for me.
