I have completed a 168-hour level 5 TEFL certificate which includes 20 hours of live classroom training, and an additional 30 hour Teaching Young Learners course with The TEFL Academy.
I have no direct teaching experience however, as part of my time as Publicity Secretary for GIS Society at University, numerous events were run to showcase GIS to those not studying it as part of their degree. During these events I taught the complex skills which I had learnt throughout my degree to beginners, communicating the advanced concepts in a simple, engaging and effective manner. My recent work experience shadowing at Truro School, has allowed me to gain a true insight from teachers and learn from their many experiences. I was also able to help in the Geography department during my visit, and help to answer younger students questions in their lessons. |

I am an ambitious, motivated responsible young woman. I strive to push myself to be the best I can be and endeavour to provide a high level of service in everything I do. I enjoy being creative and travelling. I love working with people and function well in teams, as well as working independently.
I have ear piercings and a septum piercing which is easily removed. I have no visible tattoos and I am in good mental and physical health.
