| 자기소개 |
After working in corporate banking for the past 7 years in the USA, I am looking for a new experience teaching English in Korea. Almost 10 years ago I took a chance after graduating university in Canada and took a position teaching English in Korea. It was a life changing experience full of challenges and personal growth, and I am interested in experiencing that again. As an introverted person, I am aware that many schools prefer to have extroverted personalities as teachers. However, I feel that my strong determination, responsible and caring nature, and dedication to my job will allow me to succeed as a teacher.
I am in good health and have no tattoos.
An elementary level public school position is more interesting to me as that is where i worked previously, however i am open to hearing of any good opportunities that may be a good fit for me. I do prefer a morning/afternoon work schedule on weekdays if possible and i am ok being the only English teacher (or one of few) at a school if there is a curriculum provided. A big or mid sized city is preferable, but again, I am open to hearing of other opportunities that may be a good fit. I do have a small dog that i am potentially interested in bringing to Korea so i would be looking for a school that is ok with that and would be able to have dog friendly housing.
