I have been teaching for 7 years now. I taught for 6 years in the USA. I was teaching preschool age and elementary. I have also done plenty of babysitting with children infant to high school. I also did a teaching internship with the USA department of defense through the university of Iowa. In which i was sent overseas to Germany and worked under their curriculum and taught military children on base.This last year i have been teaching as an ESL instructor in South Korea at a private school. |

My name is Allana Gobern. I love teaching and working with children. It has been my whole career.I am 25 years old and a true kid at heart. I love learning and think teaching children should be fun for the students as well. I am energetic, goofy and fun with students.
I do get chronic migraines but i have medicine from my doctors in the states that work.
The most important things to me regarding job placement are as follows. I want to be in Seoul or Gyeonggido area. I want a morning schedule, i.e. 9-5 type. or close to it. Age level i am flexible with. I do not want to be the only foriegn teacher at a school. i Ned there to be at least 1 other foreign teacher. I want at least 14-20 vacation days as well.
Since i have been teaching for so long i also expect a salary that relfects that, i.e. 2.35~4 milllion won as a start. |
