I am currently teaching kindergarten full-time at a private bilingual school in Pereira, Colombia. The school is called Liceo Pino Verde. I also have more than 300 volunteer hours from my time at the University that included working with kids of different ages in schools, organizations and camps. Before I left for Colombia I was teaching an adult ESL English class multiple times a week for about five months or so. |

| 자기소개 |
1. I am originally from Chicago, but currently live and work in Colombia. My contract goes until late November and I'm looking to move to Korea in January 2013. When I leave for Korea I will be leaving from New York City, as that is where my parents live. I absolutely love connecting with people and presenting information in a very creative way, and I think that's why I enjoy teaching. I love the insights that kids have about different topics and I love encouraging them to do their absolute best. I really love teaching kids a lot.
2. As far as visible piercings go, I have a small nose stud and a small wrist tattoo on my left hand. I also have my ears pierced.
3. The most important factor regarding my job is a really supportive work environment and the location. I want to feel that I am able to go to my coordinator with any questions and that they would be able to help me. I strongly prefer to work in Seoul at a private language institute. I am flexible with what age group I teach, but slightly prefer to work with the younger children around age 5.
4. I currently only have a local Colombian cell phone, but would be able to call any phone number through skype. My skype id is: amelia.kad13
